I am 5'8", waist and hip measurements are 28" and 34", I got a medium. bought these specifically because of the fabric makeup and how much rayon is in it; it's super soft and comfortable and the black is very flattering - the side strips add nice color. My only criticism is a lack of any front or back pockets.
